At the queerfeMS you’ll find lots of unique persons with unique stories and experiences. Everybody is (co-)responsible for the wellbeing of each other. We’d love to see a caring exchange, so that each contact stays consensual. Meaning, everybody is ok with it.

But because we’re all not perfect beings, there will always be hurtings and stepping over boundaries, sometimes not intentional. We all are influenced by societal power structures such as sexism or racism. Most of us profit from one or another, and thus have privileges over others who are discriminated against in spite of these structures. People get hurt, because we are not aware of our privileges and reproduce these very structures, making them prevail every time. Unfortunately, this happens far too often… But what is there to do?

It would be utterly nice of you, if you could maybe imagine to bring yourself to say „sorry“.

No, seriously: A person knows best what hurts for them. We just can’t assume anyone’s boundaries. So please accept it, if a person tells you: „Hey that was not cool! You hurt me!“ and excuse yourself, even if it feels hard sometimes. Also, please accept if people want to walk away if some actions or words hurt them. Let’s try to take each other seriously and to learn from the mistakes we all make.

And what is the „A-Team“ for?

We are here: If something is too much, you need some space away from the rest or you just want to talk. We want to see if you need anything and how can we get it? We deal every situation individually.

Please respect, that while we do that we also have to check our own boundaries and energy level all the time.

In our team, there will always be a sober person to talk to.

– Friday from 5-7 pm
– Saturday from 12-2 pm and 5-7 pm
– Saturday during the whole party
– Sunday from 12-2 pm and 4-5 pm

We are not here to tell people how to behave and act like a moral police. We, as any other person at the QueerfeMS, are also responsible for a caring and respectful environment, so that everybody can feel safe – not more and not less than you are too.

We want to invite you to our final A-Team plenary sunday at 5 pm for collective reflection. This can be a relaxed exchange, but there will also be room to critique the orga-crew or tell things that should be discussed in the goodbye plenary.
